The TCDI system offers an Activity Log, as well as Maintenance History, which allows users to input maintenance data and view maintenance histories for specific control devices. In addition, there is the extremely useful Work Order Menu. With this, users can create and edit work orders for traffic control devices, track and view pending and approved orders, and view completed orders. The Work Order feature follows a logical process beginning with creation of an order, through approving, editing, and completing the order.

The TCDI program allows users to run queries for all traffic control devices in the system, including signs, curb markings, street segments, legends, crosswalks, and more. Each type of query has its own easy-to-use form and produces readable, informative reports that you can print out for future reference. The system also allows users to edit existing control device records. This is a substantial feature of the TCDI program.

All in all, the TCDI system is designed for efficient, productive control device inventory and for ease-of-use. Not only can device records, activity logs, maintenance forms, and work orders be inputted easily and quickly, but users have access to all the records in the system, and these records can easily be viewed, edited, and removed when necessary.
